Punt de Referència entra en la Junta de la Taula del Tercer Sector Social
La coyuntura actual marcada por la crisis social, sanitaria y económica provocada por la COVID-19 nos lleva hacia un escenario de mucha incertidumbre y alta complejidad, donde las personas en situación más vulnerable pueden ser las principales damnificadas si no acaban siendo una prioridad en la implementación de políticas públicas por parte de los diferentes Gobiernos y Administraciones. Así pues, y ante este contexto, necesitamos un Tercer Sector Social fuerte y unificado capaz de combatir todas las desigualdades.
Y para fortalecer el sector, FEPA, la Federación que representa el colectivo de jóvenes extutelados ,presentamos la candidatura y hemos entrado a formar parte de la Junta directiva de la Taula de Entitats del Tercer Sector Social. En la Junta directiva de la Taula asistirán, en representación de de FEPA, Ferran Rodríguez, director de Fundación Eveho y Presidente de FEPA y Rita Grané, directora de Punt de Referència.
Hemos tomado la decisión para defender los derechos de los jóvenes extutelados en este nuevo espacio, porque nos permite hacer más incidencia en los espacios de decisión, llevar la voz del colectivo de jóvenes a las mesas de debate, reivindicar sus derechos, y dedicarnos aún más a la mejora de las oportunidades de vida de un colectivo en situación vulnerable en nuestra sociedad.
El contexto de emergencia social derivado de la COVID-19 nos exige también más perseverancia y tenacidad para acompañar a la juventud en momentos adversos.
Estaremos allí, con la mirada puesta en abrir más oportunidades para garantizar la igualdad de oportunidades de los jóvenes en el camino hacia su emancipación. Cogemos pues, una nueva responsabilidad que estamos seguras que aportará luz y nuevos caminos para trabajar para los chicos y chicas extutelados.
