L’habitatge és un dret que la bona part del jovent tutelat no té garantit quan arriba a la majoria d’edat. Els qui poden accedir a recursos com els pisos assistits tenen sort de comptar amb un sostre i un acompanyament sòcio-educatiu que els permet aprendre els hàbits d’emancipació, a la vegada que poden estudiar i buscar una feina.
Des de l’any 2013, el preu del lloguer a Barcelona ha pujat un 36,4% i ha arribat a assolir l’any 2018 un màxim històric de 929,6 euros mensuals de mitjana (Diàlegs d’Habitatge, 2019). Per altra banda, en els últims anys, la situació del sensellarisme a la ciutat de Barcelona ha canviat, les dades ens mostren que l’edat de les persones que no disposen de les condicions mínimes d’habitatge per poder viure amb dignitat ha disminuït: al voltant d’un 17,9% de la població sense llar és població jove (18-30 anys) i un 18,3%, menors d’edat (de Inés, Guijarro, Tello i Sales, 2017). Les dades són alarmants, i ens indiquen que els recursos i oportunitats per a la transició cap a l’emancipació són clarament insuficients. Consolidar l’habitatge ha estat i és un gran repte pel jovent extutelat. Ara, amb la crisi econòmica, el camí fa més pujada i la carrera de fons cap a la seva emancipació es complica.
Per aquesta raó cada vegada és més freqüent que el jovent que ha pogut comptar amb un recurs d’habitatge s’hagi vist avocat després, a viure al carrer, perquè la seva situació econòmica és inestable, o perquè no poden accedir als habitatges en les condicions que marca el mercat ordinari. Per contribuir a pal·liar aquesta situació Punt de Referència ha fet una aposta per construir itineraris d’habitatge de llarga durada, comptant amb el suport econòmic de Fundació La Caixa. Aquest estiu hem activat la darrera etapa:
Hem obert el darrer pis de les Llars El Pas, pensat en aquesta ocasió per a jovent migrat que ha finalitzat la seva etapa en el Projecte Acull i ha realitzat un itinerari positiu. Des del mes d’agost disposem d’una nova llar amb espai per a 3 joves que, després de viure durant 9 mesos amb persones voluntàries que els han obert les portes de casa, conviuen i compten amb la supervisió d’una educadora amb qui continuaran treballant el seu Pla de Treball cap a l’emancipació.
La incorporació d’aquest recurs ha estat possible gràcies a la col·laboració amb la Fundació Mambré, que ofereix habitatge a preus assequibles a entitats com Punt de Referència que treballem amb col·lectius vulnerables. Pels joves sense ingressos, durant els primers mesos hem comptat amb beques econòmiques del Fons cooperatiu per l’emergència social i sanitària i de la Fundació Roviralta.
Novetat: Llar Cooperativa. És una porta de sortida cap a la plena autonomia. Un projecte pensat de la mà de la Cooperativa Sostre Cívic on els joves que ja tenen recursos propis podran emancipar-se en un entorn d’habitatge no especulatiu, implicant-se en la dinàmica pròpia d’una cooperativa d’habitatge: formant part de les assemblees i de les comissions de treball.
Una forma de convivència que planteja Sostre Cívic i que promou molta implicació comunitària i treball en xarxa entre les persones implicades. Una gran oportunitat de construir una nova xarxa relacional i de veïnatge pel jovent a qui acompanyem.
El primer habitatge estarà finalitzat durant el primer semestre de 2021, i ha estat possible gràcies a l’aposta del Projecte Lliures de pobresa, d’exclusió i de desigualtats, impulsat per Coop 57, Òmnium Cultural i ECAS (Entitats Catalanes d’Acció Social).
